A função da bucha é dupla
- Suportar as cargas radiais que são aplicadas à estrutura da suspensão, cargas que variam consideravelmente durante as curvas, aceleração e frenagem e também da topografia em todos os tipos de condições de estrada
- Permitir o movimento de deslizamento da haste ao qual é fixado o pistão que amortece as vibrações durante os ciclos de extensão e compressão do choque.
Após análises das condições de cargas mais altas e levando em consideração a limitação de não aumentar o tamanho da bucha devido ao peso e restrições dimensionais, enquanto ainda mantendo o desempenho geral de vida útil, rapidamente tornou evidente que uma nova solução de mancal era necessária.
Para atender a esses requisitos, o metal-polímero DTS10 é a solução de mancal ideal para esta nova geração de amortecedores, pois sua estrutura composta exclusiva oferece:
- Uma camada anti-atrito homogênea enriquecida com PTFE e aditivos resistentes ao desgaste com uma espessura mínima acima da camada de bronze de 0,1 mm
- Suporte de aço para alta resistência mecânica
